- The Chișinău Water Tower is an architectural monument of Chișinău, Moldova, located at 2 Mitropolit Bănulescu-Bodoni Street and built at the end of 19th century after a project by Alexander Bernadazzi. It was a main part of Chișinău's water system. The upper level was built of wood and was destroyed by an earthquake. It was rebuilt between 1980 and 1983. It currently hosts Chișinău City museum, which contains items dating from 15th to 20th centuries. The upper level is a space for exhibitions of both legacy and modern paintings and photographies, as well as various cultural events. (en)

Era una parte principal del sistema de agua de Chisináu. El nivel superior fue construido de madera y fue destruido por un terremoto. Fue reconstruida entre 1980 y 1983. La altura de la torre es de 22 m. Las paredes están construidas de roca local, con algunas filas de ladrillo. Su anchura varía desde 60 cm en el nivel superior a 2 m en la parte inferior. Матеевича и митрополита (бывших Садовой и Гоголя). Эта башня положила начало городскому водопроводу. Верхний этаж, представляющий собой деревянную надстройку в результате землетрясений был разрушен. В 1980—1983 гг. он был восстановлен. Высота сооружения до венчающего карниза составляет 22 метра. Несущие стены выполнены из местного камня-ракушечника (котельца) с включением рядов кирпичной кладки. Толщина стен колеблется от 2 м в основании до 0,6 м на верхних этажах. Внутри башни сохранилась винтовая металлическая лестница, а во время реконструкции сооружён лифт. Некоторое время в здании водонапорной башни находилась штаб-квартира Исторического музея.
