The Central District of Taleqan County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان طالقان) is a district (bakhsh) in Taleqan County, Alborz province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 25,781, in 7,574 families. The district has one city: Taleqan. The district has three rural districts (dehestan): Bala Taleqan Rural District, Miyan Taleqan Rural District, and Pain Taleqan Rural District.
