- Camil Bofill (1957, Torelló) is a Spanish Catalan painter and sculptor. At 20 he began studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Barcelona in order to gain a more solid foundation to continue on the way of painting, which has already decided to fully work. Attend both classes of sculptor gaining greater mastery of drawing, volume and form. He graduated in 1981. In the same year he painted the altarpiece of the main altar of Santa Maria de Borredà. This facet of his paintings, which find a previous work in 1979, making 1988 resumes in the altarpiece of the church baptistery Torelló. In 1988 he presents his paintings for the first time in Barcelona. Then he exposed in this city and also in Madrid, Girona, Bilbao and Braga (Portugal). Exhibitions mostly individual and some collective. (en)

A los 20 años inicia los estudios en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de Barcelona con el fin de adquirir una base más sólida para seguir en el camino de la pintura, a la que ya ha decidido dedicarse plenamente. Asiste al mismo tiempo a las clases de la escultora adquiriendo un mayor dominio del dibujo, el volumen y la forma. Se licencia en 1981. Ese mismo año pinta los retablos del Altar Mayor de Santa María de Borredá.Esta faceta de su obra pictórica, de la que hay una muestra anterior de 1979, la reemprende en 1988 realizando el retablo del baptisterio de la Iglesia de Torelló. Es también en 1988 que presenta sus pinturas por primera vez en Barcelona.Posteriormente expone varias veces en esta ciudad y también en Madrid, Gerona, Bilbao y Braga (Portugal). Exposiciones en su mayoría individuales y alguna colectiva. (es)
