Owned by the Southeastern Ohio Broadcasting System of Zanesville, which often does business as the WHIZ Media Group, and operated by Urban One via a long-term local marketing agreement, the station serves much of the Columbus metropolitan area. The WWLG studios are located in Downtown Columbus (with the other WHIZ stations maintaining separate facilities on Downard Road in Zanesville), while the station transmitter resides off Pickerington Road in Carroll.
