- Bruce Mc Arthur Sayers (6 February 1928 – 12 May 2008) was a British electrical engineer. He was a professor and served as head of the Department of Electrical Engineering and later head of the Department of Computing at Imperial College, London. He was also Dean of the City and Guilds College for two terms. He married Ruth Wools Humphery on the 30th August 1951 in the Presbyterian Church Frankston Victoria. By the winter of 1954 Bruce and Ruth had boarded the Italian Ship Flotta Laura bound for the UK. (en)
