- خِزْعَة الدماغ هو إزالة قِطعة صَغيرة مِن أنسجة الدماغ لِتشخيص تشوهات الدماغ. يتم استخدامه لتشخيص مرض آلزهايمر، والأورام، والعدوى، والالتهاب، واضطرابات الدماغ الأخرى. مِن خِلال فَحص عَينة من الأنسجة تحت المجهر، عينة الخزعة تزود الأطباء بالمعلومات اللازمة لتوجيه التشخيص والعلاج. (ar)
- Brain biopsy is the removal of a small piece of brain tissue for the diagnosis of abnormalities of the brain. It is used to diagnose tumors, infection, inflammation, and other brain disorders. By examining the tissue sample under a microscope, the biopsy sample provides information about the appropriate diagnosis and treatment. (en)
- Bei der Hirnbiopsie wird zur Diagnostik noch unklarer Hirnläsionen eine Probe des Gehirns entnommen, um diese weiter untersuchen zu können. Vor allem bei zunehmend symptomatischen Läsionen, die sich auch in der Bildgebung ausbreiten, hat die Hirnbiopsie einen großen Stellenwert. Durch neue Methoden wie Stereotaxie, Neuronavigation, , MRT- und PET-Diagnostik sind die Verfahren heute sehr treffsicher und tragen wesentlich zur Diagnostik bei. Häufig erfolgt die Diagnose primärer Hirntumoren über eine Biopsie, vor allem wenn eine Resektion kontraindiziert ist (z. B. Lage des Tumors, Alter). Die genaue Diagnose ist aber trotzdem von hohem Stellenwert, um die weitere Therapie zu planen. (de)
