- Boris ist eine italienische Comedyserie, die ihre Erstausstrahlung in Italien zunächst zwischen 2007 und 2010 hatte und im Jahr 2022 mit einer neuen Staffel zurückgekehrt ist. Die Serie wurde in Italien erstmals am 16. April 2007 auf Fox ausgestrahlt, wo auch die ersten beiden Staffeln gesendet wurden. Die Erstausstrahlung der dritten Staffel erfolgte nach einem Senderwechsel in Italien auf FX. Mit der vierten Staffel wechselte die Serie zu Disney+, wo sie am 26. Oktober 2022 als Original via Star veröffentlicht wurde. Im deutschsprachigen Raum erschienen die Staffeln 1–4 am 26. Oktober 2022 auf Disney+ als Star Original. Im Jahr 2011 kam ein auf der Serie basierender Film unter dem Titel Boris – Il film in die italienischen Kinos, der zwischen den Staffeln 3 und 4 angesiedelt ist. (de)

Prodotta per le prime tre stagioni da Wilder per Fox International Channels Italy, queste sono state trasmesse in prima visione assoluta in Italia dai canali satellitari Fox e FX e successivamente in chiaro da Cielo; la quarta stagione, prodotta da The Apartment, è stata pubblicata su Disney+.
