- Hřib královský (Butyriboletus regius (Krombh.) et 2014) je velmi vzácná a zákonem chráněná houba z čeledi hřibovitých a zároveň jeden z nejkrásnějších hřibů bývalého Československa. Patří mezi teplomilné houby, které jsou vázané na listnaté stromy. V posledních letech výrazně mizí. (cs)

- Boletus regius es un hongo basidiomiceto de la familia Boletaceae, que habita en bosques de frondosas de zonas templadas. Es una especie poco común que suele aparecer bajo la cobertura de árboles caducifolios, del tipo del castaño o el haya, y que fructifica de forma solitaria o en grupos de dos o tres basidiocarpos, en verano y principios de otoño. Es una especie comestible, pero muy poco frecuente. El epíteto específico "regius" significa "real", y hace referencia a su bella coloración, presentando tonos rojo rosado en la cutícula del sombrerillo, amarillo dorado en la zona de los poros y amarillo limón en el pie. Anteriormente a la descripción de esta especie por parte de Krombholz, se le consideraba una variedad de Boletus appendiculatus, en la sección Calopodes. (es)
- Le Bolet royal est une espèce de champignons basidiomycètes de la famille des Boletaceae, décrite pour la première fois par le mycologue allemand Krombholz en 1832 sous le binôme Boletus regius. Les progrès de la systématique font éclater l'ancien genre Boletus ss. lato et migrer toute la section Appendiculati vers le nouveau genre Butyriboletus (ou « Bolets beurrés », en raison de leur chair « jaune de beurre », ferme et mate) en 2014. L'épithète « royale » est amplement méritée par ce majestueux Bolet, robuste et trapu, aux allures de cèpe, son chapeau rouge rosé ou framboise, contrastant avec ses pores et son stipe réticulé jaune, procure un mémorable plaisir des yeux, renforcé par sa rareté. Sa comestibilité, jugée excellente, est légendaire et ne connait qu'une seule exception (R. Courtecuisse 2000 la donne toxique). Sa rareté en fait de toutes façons une espèce à protéger, sur liste rouge dans de nombreux pays. (fr)
