- الاتصالات الثنائية التزامنية (BSC أو Bisync) هو من إنتاج شركة IBM لأجهزة التجارة الدولية، والذي تم الإعلان عنه في عام 1967 بعد تقديم نظام/360. وقد حل محل بروتوكول تزامن الإرسال والاستقبال بروتوكول (STR) المستخدم في حاسبات الجيل الثاني. وكان الهدف منه هو إتاحة استخدام قواعد إدارة الروابط المشتركة مع ثلاثة أحرف هجائية مختلفة لتشفير الرسائل. وإن تحويل التشفير ذو 6-بت تحويل التشفير يتعامل مع النظم الأقدم؛ USASCII التي تستخدم 128 رمز و EBCDIC التي تستخدم 256 رمز. ولقد اختفي تحويل التشفير سريعًا ولكن ما زال للغة الـ EBCDIC للاتصال الثنائي التزامني استخدام محدود في أوائل القرن الحادي والعشرين. - Binary Synchronous Communication (BSC) ist ein Begriff aus der Informatik und bezeichnet ein bestimmtes Netzwerkprotokoll. Das Binary Synchronous Communication, oder kurz BSC, ist ein synchrones, zeichenorientiertes Verbindungsprotokoll von IBM, das seine Dienste auf der Sicherungsschicht abwickelt. Das Verfahren wird auch BISYNC genannt und benutzt eine definierte Folge von Steuerzeichen für die Synchron-Übertragung von binär codierten Daten zwischen Stationen eines Kommunikationssystems. Die Daten werden blockweise (zeichen- oder byteweise) zusammengefasst, mit Steuerzeichen und Prüfzeichen versehen und im Halbduplex-Betrieb übertragen. Der Betrieb erfolgt durch die Aufforderung einer Leitstation an eine Unterstation, Daten zu senden. Die empfangenen Daten werden auf Übertragungsfehler hin überprüft und quittiert oder von der Leitstation neu angefordert. BSC eignet sich für Punkt-zu-Punkt- und für Punkt-zu-Mehrpunkt-Verbindungen. Das BSC-Protokoll wurde in den 1960er Jahren entwickelt und war in den 1960er- und 1970er-Jahren die meistverwendete Kommunikationsform bei großen IBM-Computern. Es ist immer noch wichtig, wurde aber schon zunehmend durch leistungsfähigere, bitorientierte Protokolle wie HDLC (High-Level Data Link Control) und SDLC (Synchronous Data Link Control) abgelöst. - Binary Synchronous Communication (BSC or Bisync) is an IBM character-oriented, half-duplex link protocol, announced in 1967 after the introduction of System/360. It replaced the synchronous transmit-receive (STR) protocol used with second generation computers. The intent was that common link management rules could be used with three different character encodings for messages. Six-bit Transcode looked backwards to older systems; USASCII with 128 characters and EBCDIC with 256 characters looked forward. Transcode disappeared very quickly but the EBCDIC and USASCII dialects of Bisync continued in use. At one time Bisync was the most widely used communications protocol and is still in limited use in 2013. (en)
