- William Clintard Robinzine (January 20, 1953 – September 16, 1982) was an American professional basketball player. Born in Chicago, Robinzine grew to be a 6' 7" forward from DePaul University. He played seven seasons (1975–1982) in the NBA, competing for the Kansas City Kings, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks, and Utah Jazz. He is perhaps best remembered for his inclusion in the highlight footage of Darryl Dawkins' backboard-shattering dunk at Kansas City's Kemper Arena on November 13, 1979. Robinzine, who was under the basket at the time, fled while shielding his face in order to avoid falling glass, which inspired Dawkins to include the phrase "Robinzine Cryin'" when later creating a name for the dunk. Su nombre se hizo popular a causa de un mate que realizó Darryl Dawkins jugando con los Sixers delante de él, y que rompió el tablero, siendo bautizado por el propio jugador dicho mate, entre otros nombres, con el de Robinzine Crying, ya que éste reaccionó llevándose las manos a la cara, agachándose y saliendo corriendo. È ricordato per la partita del 13 novembre 1979 contro i Philadelphia 76ers, durante la sua militanza nei Kansas City Kings. Durante il match, fu investito dai frammenti causati dalla rottura del tabellone in cristallo da parte di Darryl Dawkins. Il nome che Dawkins diede alla schiacciata, includeva anche Robinzine che fuggiva: "The Chocolate-Thunder-Flying, Robinzine-Crying, Teeth-Shaking, Glass-Breaking, Rump-Roasting, Bun-Toasting, Wham-Bam, Glass-Breaker-I-Am-Jam". Nel settembre 1982, Robinzine si suicidò nella sua auto per avvelenamento da monossido di carbonio in un deposito a Kansas City, nel Missouri.
