- The Bailiff of Jersey (French: Le Bailli de Jersey) is the civic head of the Bailiwick of Jersey. In this role, he is not the head of government nor the head of state, but the chief justice of Jersey and presiding officer of Jersey's parliament, the States Assembly. The Bailiff is also the President of the Royal Court. It is similar in role to the Bailiff of Guernsey. The position of Bailiff was created shortly after the Treaty of Paris 1259 in which the king of England, Henry III, gave up claim to all of the Duchy of Normandy but the Channel Islands. In 1290, separate bailiffs for Jersey and Guernsey were appointed. (en)

- Jerseys bailiff (på engelska: Bailiff of Jersey) är de facto statschef på Jersey och representerar Storbritanniens monark där. Bailiffs post nämns för första gången år 1204 men den första bekräftade bailiffen var Philippe L’Evesque, som började på posten år 1277. I början var bailiff både en administratör och domare. Bailiffens uppgift är att övervaka Jerseys politiska liv och fungera som Jerseys toppdomare och så kallad första medborgare. Sedan oktober 2019 har fungerat som bailiff. Den regerande monarken nominerar bailiffen efter Jerseys regerings rekommendation. Bailiffens mandatperiod är efter monarkens gottfinnande som typiskt är fram till pensioneringen vid 70 års ålder.
