- La revista AtomAge (més endavant anomenada AtomAge International) era una revista fetitxista publicada a la Gran Bretanya pel dissenyador de roba John Sutcliffe durant els anys 70' com una eina de propaganda per al seu negoci de . El primer catàleg de roba fetitxista d'AtomAge va ser publicat el 1965; el primer número de la revista, en format A5, va ser publicat el 1972, i va mantenir la seva aparició periòdica fins al 1980. La revista estava especialitzada en i fetitxisme del làtex, amb un gran èmfasi en peces de vestir com els catsuits, abrics llargs, impermeables i màscares de gas.El 1981 la publicació es va dividir en dues: AtomAge Rubberist (similar a l'original AtomAge) i AtomAge Bondage (amb contingut més específic vers el bondage i l'SM). L'editor John Sutcliffe va prendre aquesta decisió perquè el públic rubberista va mostrar el seu enuig per la presència de material SM en la publicació. Totes dues publicacions van continuar editant-se fins al 1985. Una de les màximes fites d'en John Sutcliffe va ser la de dignificar la percepció popular sobre el fetitxisme. És per això que se'l té com un dels sants patrons de la comunitat rubberista mundial. El 2010 es va publicar Dressing For Pleasure, The Best Of AtomAge, un llibre recopilatori en tapa dura, on es veia un recull de l'imaginari de la revista, la història del seu editor i la influència que aquesta ha tingut en el desenvolupament de la subcultura associada. Das Magazin spezialisierte sich auf Leder-, Gummi- und PVC-Fetischismus, mit einem Schwerpunkt auf Gummi- und Leder-Catsuits, Umhänge und Gasmasken. Im Jahr 1981 wurde die Publikation in zwei Teile aufgeteilt: AtomAge Rubberist (ähnlich dem Original AtomAge) und AtomAge Bondage (die eher S & M Inhalte enthielt). Sutcliffe hat diese Entscheidung getroffen, weil das Bondage-Material, das er in den späten 1970er Jahren im ursprünglichen AtomAge vorstellte, einige Gummi-Liebhaber verärgerte. - AtomAge magazine (later AtomAge International magazine) was a fetish magazine published in Britain by the clothes designer John Sutcliffe in the 1970s as an offshoot of his AtomAge fetish clothing business. The magazine has been called the "underground bible of leather, rubber and vinyl fetish wear throughout the 1970s" and documented Britain's S&M scene. The first AtomAge clothing catalogue was published in 1965 and it expanded into a magazine in 1972. The magazine specialized in leather, rubber and PVC fetishism, with a heavy emphasis on rubber and leather catsuits, cloaks, and gasmasks. In 1981, the publication was split in two: AtomAge Rubberist (similar to the original AtomAge) and AtomAge Bondage (which contained more overtly S&M content). Sutcliffe made this decision because the Bondage material he began to introduce in the late 1970s issues of the original AtomAge bothered some rubber enthusiasts. Both magazines remained in print until 1985. One of Sutcliffe's main goals was to dignify the popular perception of fetish. He is regarded as one of the patron saints of the worldwide Rubberist community as a result. 2010 saw the publication of Dressing For Pleasure, The Best Of AtomAge, a comprehensive hardback book celebrating both the magazine and company.
