- Armin Bernd Cremers (born June 7, 1946) is a German mathematician and computer scientist. He is a professor in the computer science institute at the University of Bonn, Germany. He is most notable for his contributions to several fields of discrete mathematics including formal languages and automata theory. In more recent years he has been recognized for his work in artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics as well as in geoinformatics and deductive databases. (en)

Após obter o diploma (1971) e um doutorado (1972) obteve a habilitação em informática em 1974 em Karlsruhe. Em 1973 foi convidado por para trabalhar na Universidade do Sul da Califórnia (USC), Los Angeles, onde trabalhou até 1976 como professor assistente. Em 1976 retornou para a Alemanha, onde foi chamado para a cátedra de sistema de informação na Universidade Técnica de Dortmund, onde permaneceu até 1990.
