- Charles Armand Crabbé (23 April 1883, Brussels – 24 July 1947, Brussels) was a Belgian operatic baritone. He studied at the Brussels Conservatory with Désiré Demest. In 1904 he made his professional opera debut at La Monnaie as the Nightwatchman in Richard Wagner's Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg. He was a leading performer at the Royal Opera House in London from 1906 to 1914 and again in 1937. He performed with the Manhattan Opera House from 1907 to 1910 and with the Chicago Grand Opera Company from 1910 to 1914. He made several appearances with the Teatro Colón and La Scala during the 1920s. He was active at the Vlaamse Opera up until his retirement in the early 1940s. From 1910, Crabbé used the pseudonym Charles Morin when performing in small roles in London. (en)

Estudió en Bruselas y Milán, e hizo su debut en el Teatro de la Moneda en 1904, en el papel secundario del vigilante, en Die Meistersinger, de Richard Wagner. De 1906 a 1914 cantó en Covent Garden, en Londres, entre otros los roles de Valentin (Faust), Alfio (Cavalleria rusticana), Silvio (Pagliacci) y Ford (Falstaff). En 1937 volvió a Londres para cantar Gianni Schicchi. En La Scala cantó en Rigoleto, La Bohème (Marcello), Die Meistersinger (Beckmesser) y Manon Lescaut (Lescaut), y estrenó de Giordano, en el papel protagonista (1929). En América cantó en Nueva York (1907), Chicago (1910 - 14) y Buenos Aires, en los años 20. Frecuentó el Teatro Real de Madrid en los años 20, y, tras su cierre, constituyó una compañía de ópera junto a la soprano Ángeles Ottein y el tenor Carlos del Pozo. Su carrera se extendió hasta el principio de los años 40, sobre todo en Amberes. (es)
