Arctit ist damit ein Natrium-Barium-Calcium-Phosphat mit zusätzlichen Fluor-Ionen. Arctit kristallisiert im trigonalen Kristallsystem und entwickelt farblose bis weiße Kristalle von bis zu drei Zentimetern Größe mit einem glasähnlichen Glanz auf den Oberflächen. (de)

Arctite is transparent with a vitreous lustre. Arctite has a perfect cleavage and a trigonal crystal system. It is also a naturally occurring antiperovskite. Common associates of arctite include aegirine, , lomonosovite, umbite and thenardite. (en)
