- Aflebie je zvláštní párový orgán, lupenitý či kožovitý útvar při bázi listů u některých kapraďorostů. U fosilních kapradin známých z uhlí se podobá zahnutému ostnu. Většinou má funkci totožnou s palisty, slouží k ochraně mladých listů. (cs)

Biotii, P. abbrebiata, and Sphenopteris cremate strengthens the view now generally entertained, that most of the species of Aphlebia are stipal abortive pinnæ growing from the bases of primary or secondary rachises” (101).
