Anton Ritter Jaksch von Wartenhorst (10 April 1810, in Stráž pod Ralskem – 2 September 1887, in Luhov (Líšťany) was an Austrian and Czech physician born in Stráž pod Ralskem, Bohemia. He was the father of internist Rudolf von Jaksch (1855–1947). He studied medicine at the University of Prague under Julius Vincenz von Krombholz, and at the University of Vienna, where he had as instructors Joseph Škoda, Jakob Kolletschka and Carl von Rokitansky. He earned his doctorate in 1835, afterwards working as an assistant at the second medical clinic in Prague.
