- Chapterhouse were a British shoegazing/alternative rock band from Reading, Berkshire, England. Formed in 1987 by Andrew Sherriff and Stephen Patman, the band began performing alongside Spacemen 3. They released two albums: Whirlpool (1991) and Blood Music (1993). The group temporarily reformed in 2008 after being asked to join Ulrich Schnauss onstage to perform his cover version of their song "Love Forever" at the Truck Festival in Oxfordshire. The band finished the brief reunion with two gigs in London (2009–2010) and tours in North America and Japan in 2010. (en)

- Chapterhouse foi uma banda musical formado em 1987 por Andrew Sherriff (vocal e guitarra), Stephen Patman (guitarra e vocal), Simon Rowe (guitarra), Jon Curtis (baixo) e Ashley Bates (bateria), na cidade de Reading, Reino Unido. A sua música pode ser classificada como parte da shoegaze do início dos anos 90, onde se enquadram bandas como My Bloody Valentine, Lush, Ride, Moose e Slowdive. Após assinarem um contrato com a editora Dedicated, lançaram uma série de singles aclamados, como "Pearl", que atingiu o Top 75 de singles britânico. O primeiro álbum, "Whirlpool", lançado em 1991, é considerado um dos mais importantes do género, embora tenha atraído pouca atenção por parte do público.
