- The Allgemeine Arbeiter-Union – Einheitsorganisation (AAUE or AAU-E) was an anti-parliamentarian Council communist organisation established in Germany in October 1921. It was a split from the General Workers' Union of Germany (AAUD). Otto Rühle was involved in setting up the AAUE as an organisation which combined the political and economic aspirations of communist workers in a single (einheits) organisation. This occurred following his trip to Russia as a representative of the Communist Workers' Party of Germany (KAPD) at the Second World Congress of the Communist International. He travelled around Russia before the Congress and formed a very negative view of the Bolshevik regime. He advocated a very different way to realise a communist revolution which came to be adopted by the AAUE: "Everyone must become in his consciousness a living bearer of the revolutionary struggle and creative member of the communist build-up. The necessary freedom therefore will however never be won in the coercive system of centralism, the chains of bureaucratic-militaristic control, under the burden of a leader-dictatorship and its inevitable accompaniments: arbitrariness, personality cult, authority, corruption, violence. Therefore transformation of the party-conception into a federative community-conception on the line of councilist ideas. Therefore: supersession of external commitments and compulsion through internal readiness and willingness.Therefore: elevation of communism from the demagogic prattle of the paper cliché to the height of one of the most internally captivating and fulfilling experiences of the whole world." - L'Union générale des travailleurs d'Allemagne - Organisation unitaire (AAUD-E) est une organisation conseilliste issue en 1920 d'une scission de l'AAUD (Union Générale des Travailleurs d'Allemagne). L'Union Générale des Travailleurs d'Allemagne - Organisation unitaire (AAUD-E) critique le fonctionnement centraliste de l'AAUD et ses liens avec le KAPD (Parti communiste ouvrier d'Allemagne). La moitié des 200 000 membres de l'AAUD quittent alors l'organisation pour fonder l'AAUD-E en décembre 1920. L'AAUD-E était comme son nom l'indique une organisation unitaire qui regroupait les travailleurs à la fois économiquement et politiquement, mais qui n'était ni un syndicat ni un parti. Otto Rühle est le principal animateur de l'AAUD-E. Devant la chute rapide de leurs effectifs, l'AAUD et l'AAUD-E finissent par se réunifier en 1931 sous le nom d'Union communiste ouvrière d'Allemagne (KAUD). (fr)
- A União Geral dos Trabalhadores - Organização Unitária (Allgemeine Arbeiter-Union – Einheitsorganisation, AAUE or AAU-E) foi uma organização comunista de conselhos e antiparlamentar criada na Alemanha em outubro de 1921. esteve envolvido em criar a AAUE como uma organização que combinasse as aspirações políticas e económicas dos trabalhadores comunistas numa única (einheits) organização. Tal ocorreu após a sua viagem à Rússia como representante do Partido Comunista Operário da Alemanha (KAPD) ao II Congresso da Internacional Comunista. Ele viajou pela Rússia antes do congresso e formou uma opinião muiito negativa do regime bolchevique, o que o levou a defender uma caminho bastante diferente para realisar a revolução comunista, que veio a ser adotado pela AAUE: "Cada um deve se tornar na sua consciência um portador vivo da luta revolucionária e um membro criativo da construção do comunismo. Assim, a liberdade necessária nunca será conquistada no sistema coercivo do centralismo, das cadeias do controlo burocrático-militarista, debaixo do peso da ditadura do líder e dos seus resultados inevitáveis: arbitrariadade, culto da personalidade, autoridade, corrupção, violência. Assim: transformação da ideia de partido numa comunidade federativa na linha das ideias conselhistas. Assim: superar as obrigações e compulsões externas pela vontade e disponiblidade interiores. Assim: elevação do comunismo da conversa demagógica dos clichés de papel para uma das experiências mais realizadoras e internamente cativante do mundo inteiro" (pt)
