- سرحة أو آءة (الاسم العلمي Aegiceras)، جنس نباتات برية وزراعية وتزينية من فصيلةالقتميات. أنواعه عديدة مختلفة المنابت، منها منقعية وبعضها يكثر في الأودية الظليلة وغيرها يرغب في الرمل،جميعها شجيرات وجنبات دائمة الأوراق المتعاقبة، المعنقة الصغيرة، البيضية أو المستطيلة، ازهرارها سنبلي أو صيوانيالتميع، ازهارها بيض. ثمارها قرنية محدبة عوجاء الشكل مرة الطعم، أوراقها وحملها تصلح لدباغة. They occur as mangroves in coastal or estuarine areas. The genus was first described in 1788 by Joseph Gaertner. The genus name, Aegiceras, derives from two Greek words: aix ("goat") and keras ("horn", and describes the genus as having fruits with horns like a goat. (en)
