- APEC Peru 2008 was a series of political meetings held around Peru between the 21 member economies of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation during 2008. Although business leaders of the region also met before the summit officially began. Leaders from all the member countries met during November 22–23, 2008, in the capital city of Lima. The 21 members accounted for approximately 60 percent of the world's gross domestic product. (en)
- APEC Perú 2008 fue la vigésima (XX) reunión anual del Foro de Cooperación Económica Asia-Pacífico (en inglés, Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, APEC) y décimo sexta (XVI) de sus líderes, realizada entre el 21 y 23 de noviembre del 2008 en Lima. Perú ha sido un miembro pleno de APEC desde 1998. Su participación comenzó en la Reunión de Ministros en noviembre de ese año en Malasia. La entrada de Perú en la Cooperación Económica Asia-Pacífico (APEC) se debe a los esfuerzos coordinados de los representantes del gobierno y de las comunidades empresarial y académica. Perú es el único miembro de la Comunidad Andina que es miembro de APEC. El intercambio comercial con las economías miembros de APEC se ha incrementado con el tiempo, y representa un porcentaje importante del comercio de Perú. (es)

На 21 страну АТЭС приходятся 60 % мирового ВВП. В качестве темы саммита президент Перу выбрал следующую концепцию — «К решению новых задач в интересах развития Азиатско-Тихоокеанского региона» (англ.
