- AMzer – Seasons is the 24th album by Breton musician Alan Stivell, released on 2 October 2015 through WorldVillage in France and other countries. "NEw' AMzer" was the first single to be released from it. This track was also released as a promotional video. By using the Breton expression an amzer evoking the weather and the passing of time, Stivell brings a perspective to the evolution of the world, half a century after his recording debuts, and particularly to the technical progress, by playing on a new electric Celtic harp, served with modern effects. It is a tribute to the time inspired by the change of seasons, supported by a sound design where vocals, flutes and percussions build the mould for some contemplative music, somewhere between avant-folk and a kind of innovative electronic approach. The lyrics are poems in relation to the nature and the seasons, sometimes old as the Japanese haiku or new as a Breton teenager's poem. The album is also available as a "Leclerc limited edition" including 3 bonus tracks (2 alternative mixes and a brand new instrumental) and a 60-page booklet. (en)
- AMzer (« Temps » en breton), sous-titré Seasons, est le vingt-quatrième album original d'Alan Stivell sorti le 24 septembre 2015 sous le label WorldVillage distribué par Harmonia Mundi. New' AMzer en est le premier extrait des douze titres. En employant le mot breton amzer, qui signifie le temps qu'il fait mais aussi le temps qui passe, Alan Stivell porte un regard sur l'évolution du monde, un demi-siècle après ses débuts de chanteur, et sur le progrès technique, en jouant sur une nouvelle harpe celtique électrique, accompagné d'effets modernes. L'ensemble évolue par improvisations et par vagues d'énergies, suivant le cycle saisonnier. Porté par un « sound design » de programmations, voix, cordes, flûtes et percussions, l'album aboutit à une musique contemplative new age, entre folk d'avant-garde et approche électronique expérimentale. Les textes sont des poèmes chantés en lien avec la nature et les saisons, parfois anciens comme les haïkus japonais ou récents comme le poème breton écrit par un adolescent. Télérama et l'AFP parlent de « chef-d’œuvre » et plusieurs journalistes saluent la démarche conceptuelle, l'exploration sonore ou l'ouverture culturelle.
