- أميديست (بالإنجليزية: AMIDEAST) اختصاراً ل(America-Mideast Educational and Training Services) أي (الخدمات التعليمية والتدريبية الأمريكية-الشرق أوسطية) هي منظمة غير ربحية تهدف إلي تحسين فرص التعليم والتدريب في أقليم الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، تأسست سنة 1951 تعمل علي تقوية العلاقات بين الشعب الأميركي وشعوب الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، يقع مقرها في واشنطن دي سي، الرئيس التنفيذي ثيودور كاتوف سفير أميركي سابق، في 2016 كانت أميديست تقدم برامج تدريب لغة أنجليزي ومهنية إلي 58 ألف طالب وموظف، وقدمت محاضرات إلي 87 ألف شخص عن الدراسة في أميركا، أدارت 200 ألف أختبار، وقدمت منح إلي 1,700 مستفيد. اعتبارا من 2018 تقدم أميديست خدماتها إلي نصف مليون شخص سنويا. - Amideast (the America-Mideast Educational and Training Services) is a U.S. non-profit organization that works to strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation between Americans and the peoples of the Middle East and North Africa, and to offer opportunities for Learning and training. Established in 1951 and based in Washington, DC, the organization is headed by CEO Theodore H. Kattouf. In 2016, Amideast provided English language and professional training to 58,000 students, gave lectures on education in USA to 87,000 attendants, administered 200,000 tests, and offered scholarships to 1,700 applicants. As of 2018, Amideast provides its services to 500,000 people. (en)
