- ACU is a political-cultural venue in the city centre of Utrecht, in the Netherlands. The name ACU is derived from "Auto Centrale Utrecht" (Car Centre Utrecht) and is one of the many signs of its origin as an old squat. Nowadays it is still run by volunteers as an infoshop and social centre in order to keep it an independent and non-profit harbour within Utrecht's nightlife. (en)
- ACU is een politiek cultureel centrum in de binnenstad van de Nederlandse stad Utrecht. Tevens functioneert het als concertzaal voor voornamelijk alternatieve bands. Ook heeft het een veganistisch eetcafé, worden er informatie- en filmavonden gehouden en was het voorheen een vast onderdeel van het Le Guess Who?. Daarnaast zijn er dansavonden in uiteenlopende muziekstijlen. ACU ontvangt geen subsidies, draait volledig op de inzet van vrijwilligers en bezit het pand in eigen beheer. Het is daardoor geheel onafhankelijk en vaart zodoende een eigen koers op onder andere het gebied van (band)programmering. (nl)
