- League of Legends Championship Korea - zkráceně taky známá pod názvem LCK je jihokorejská profesionální extraliga společnosti RiotGames zaměřená na League of Legends. Patří mezi čtyři největší ligy světa tohoto esportu a reprezentuje ji deset nejlepších jihokorejských, domácích týmů. Liga byla založena roku 2012 v Seoulu, ve druhé sezóně League of Legends. Po vzoru této ligy vznikly další velké extraligy - jako LCS, LEC, nebo . Liga má za úkol vybrat tři nejlepší týmy korejského regionu, které budou Jižní Koreu reprezentovat na každoročním Mistrovství světa v League of Legends (WORLDS/World Championship). Celý průběh ligy je vysílán živě na platformách Twitch, YouTube, nebo na televizních kanálech speciálně zaměřených na progaming. Ve světě League of Legends je LCK považována za nejúspěšnější ligu v historii - především díky mezinárodním úspěchům a statistikám, ve kterých drtivě přehrává všechny ostatní extraligy - z dosavadních deseti Světových šampionátů vyhrály korejské týmy šest, přičemž v prvních dvou sezónách se ještě ani nemohly účastnit jako reprezentanti Korejského regionu. Liga podobně dominuje taky na Mid-Season Invitational, druhé největší kompetitivní události pro LoL - vítězství dvou z pěti konaných šampionátů. (cs)
- Die League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK; koreanisch 리그 오브 레전드 챔피언스 코리아) ist eine südkoreanische E-Sport-Profiliga in League of Legends (LoL). Dabei handelt es sich um ein Spiel aus dem MOBA-Genre, bei dem zwei Teams – bestehend aus jeweils fünf Spielern – gegeneinander antreten. Die Liga besteht aus zehn Mannschaften, die in zwei Saisons (Season-Split: Frühjahr und Sommer) gegeneinander antreten. Die besten Teams qualifizieren sich für die League of Legends World Championships. Die LCK wird vom Spieleentwickler Riot Games und dem südkoreanischen Verband KeSPA verwaltet und gesteuert. Von 2012 bis 2013 hieß der Wettbewerb League of Legends Champions, bevor es Ende 2014 zu einigen Änderungen kam. Bis 2016 hatte OGN die Exklusivrechte an den Übertragungen. Danach wurden diese mit SPOTV geteilt. 2019 übernahm Riot Games die Übertragungsrechte. 2021 wechselte die LCK zum Franchising und verlor damit auch ihr Qualifikationsturnier. Die LCK galt für eine lange Zeit als die beste League of Legends Liga, da Mannschaften aus der LCK zwischen 2013 und 2017 dominant fünf Weltmeisterschaftstitel gewinnen konnten. Der amtierende Meister des LCK Summer Split ist DAMWON Gaming, welcher 2020 auch die League of Legends Weltmeisterschaft (Worlds) gewann. (de)

The LCK is administered in cooperation between Riot Games and KeSPA. The league was formerly named League of Legends Champions before undergoing a major restructuring in late 2014, which saw a change in the competition's format and a rebranding to its current name. OGN reserved exclusive broadcasting rights of the league until 2016 when rights were split with SPOTV Games. In 2019, Riot Games took over the broadcasting of LCK. In 2021 the LCK franchised, and Challengers Korea (CK) and the LCK promotion tournament were discontinued. The LCK is considered one of the strongest League of Legends competitions in the world, with teams from the league winning the World Championship a record seven times, including five consecutive titles from 2013 to 2017. Каждый сплит состоит из турнира продвижения (стыковых матчей против команд из лиги ), регулярного сезона и плей-офф. Чемпион весеннего сплита с 2015 года квалифицируется на Mid-Season Invitational. «ROX Tigers» являются действующими чемпионами лиги, «SK Telecom T1» — наиболее титулованный коллектив LCK. (ru)
