- The 2012 Tour of Turkey was the 48th edition of the Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey cycling stage race. It was held from 22 April–29 April 2012, and was rated as a 2.HC event on the UCI Europe Tour. Bulgarian Ivailo Gabrovski originally won the race after dominating the third stage, but was later found to have used EPO and was disqualified. It was officially announced in October 2012 that the winner of the Tour of Turkey is Alexsandr Dyachenko of Astana. (en)
- Die 48. Türkei-Rundfahrt (Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey) fand vom 22. April bis 29. April 2012 statt. Das Rad-Etappenrennen war Teil der UCI Europe Tour 2012, in der es in die höchste Kategorie 2.HC eingestuft war, und wurde in acht Etappen über insgesamt 1172,7 Kilometer ausgetragen. Als Gesamtsieger wurde zunächst der Bulgare Iwajlo Gabrowski, der für das türkische Radsportteam Konya Torku Şeker Spor-Vivelo fuhr, geehrt. Später wurde bekannt, dass seine A-Probe nach der dritten Etappe, welche er ebenfalls gewann, positiv auf das Dopingmittel Erythropoetin getestet wurde. Gabrovski wurde disqualifiziert und die anderen Fahrer rückten jeweils einen Platz auf. Neuer Gesamtsieger war damit Alexander Djatschenko vom Astana Pro Team. (de)
- El Tour de Turquía 2012, la 48ª edición de la prueba, tuvo lugar del 22 de abril al 29 de abril de 2012, sobre un trazado de 1194 km. La prueba perteneció al UCI Europe Tour 2011-2012 de los Circuitos Continentales UCI, dentro de la máxima categoría para vueltas de varias etapas: 2.HC. Como novedad la carrera finalizó en Estambul, el hasta ahora tradicional punto de arranque; y arrancó en Alanya, el hasta ahora tradicional punto final. Por otro lado, contó con un final en alto en el inédito Elmali siendo la primera vez que se introduce una etapa de alta montaña cuando tradicionalmente todas han sido llanas o rompepiernas. En principio el ganador final fue Ivailo Gabrovski (quien además se hizo con la etapa reina) pero fue desclasificado como consecuencia de un positivo por EPO después de su victoria (ver sección Positivo de Ivailo Gabrovski) por lo que el ganador final fue Alexandr Dyachenko (finalmente el vencedor de dicha etapa reina). Le acompañaron en el podio Danail Petrov (finalmente segundo) y Adrián Palomares (finalmente tercero), coincidiendo con los primeros puestos de la etapa reina en . En las clasificaciones secundarias se impusieron Matthew Goss (puntos), Marco Bandiera (montaña), Maxim Belkov (sprints especiales) y Astana (equipos). (es)

Le Bulgare Ivaïlo Gabrovski, vainqueur de l'épreuve, a été contrôlé positif à l'EPO, au terme de la troisième étape qu'il avait remporté. Le second Aleksandr Dyachenko récupère donc la victoire. (fr)
- De Ronde van Turkije 2012 (Turks: 2012 Cumhurbaşkanlığı Türkiye Bisiklet Turu) was de 12e editie van deze wielerwedstrijd die als meerdaagse koers werd verreden van zondag 22 april tot en met zondag 29 april in Turkije. Deze wedstrijd maakte deel uit van de UCI Europe Tour 2012. De aanvankelijke winnaar was de Bulgaar Ivajlo Gabrovski die de ronde in 2007 ook al gewonnen, maar Gabrovski werd achteraf betrapt op het gebruik van epo en gediskwalificeerd. De Kazach Aleksandr Djatsjenko was de nieuwe winnaar. (nl)

Wyścig, który miał kategorię 2.HC (najwyższą po UCI World Tour) rozpoczął się 22 kwietnia w Alanyi a zakończył 29 kwietnia w Stambule. W wyścigu brało udział czterech polskich kolarzy: Michał Gołaś z zespołu Omega Pharma-Quick Step zajął 9. miejsce, Jarosław Marycz z grupy Team Saxo Bank był 62., Adrian Kurek z ekipy 95., a Karol Domagalski z Caja Rural ukończył wyścig na 122. miejscu. Zwyciężył Bułgar Iwajło Gabrowski, kolarz tureckiej grupy Konya Torku Şeker Spor, ale został zdyskwalifikowany za doping, a zwycięstwo przyznano Aleksandrowi Diaczence. (pl)
