- The 2011–12 LEN Champions League is the 49th edition of the Europe men's premier water polo competition. This also would become the first season with the new name of the LEN Champions League with the former name being called the Euroleague which had been the name of the competition since 2003. 29 teams competed in the edition with three quarters of those playing in qualifying as they joined the eight teams in the group stage. From there, the top two teams of each group qualified to the knockout stage with the final four round being played in Oradea. In the final, Pro Recco from Italy took out their seventh title defeating Croatian club, VK Primorje 11–8. Third place was fellow Croatian club HAVK Mladost who defeated Vasas SC from Hungary in the bronze medal playoff. (en)

- La LEN Champions League 2011-2012 è stata la 49ª edizione del massimo trofeo continentale di pallanuoto per squadre europee di club. In questa stagione il trofeo riassume la precedente denominazione di Champions League dopo 8 stagioni di Eurolega. La formula rimane la stessa delle stagioni precedenti, ad eccezione della fase dei quarti di finale, che tornano a disputarsi ad eliminazione diretta. Hanno preso parte al primo turno di qualificazione 13 club, nel secondo sono scesi in campo gli otto vicecampioni dei maggiori campionati e infine nel Turno preliminare (il terzo turno effettivo) sono entrati in gara anche gli otto campioni nazionali, per un totale di 26 club in rappresentanza di 13 nazioni.La Final Four si è disputata per la prima volta in Romania, a Oradea, l'11 e 12 maggio 2012. La Pro Recco, giunta in finale per il settimo anno consecutivo, ha sconfitto i croati del PK Primorje e si è laureata campione d'Europa per la settima volta. (it)
