- The European and African Zone is one of the three zones of regional Davis Cup competition in 2010. In the European and African Zone there are four different groups in which teams compete against each other to advance to the next group. (en)

I quattro vincitori sono ammessi ai World Group Play-offs, i vincitori dei quali vengono poi promossi al Gruppo Mondiale, la massima categoria in assoluto della Coppa Davis. Teste di serie: 1.

* Formula: 11 squadre partecipanti. Torneo ad eliminazione diretta. Al primo turno partecipano solo 6 squadre, mentre Austria, Slovacchia, Paesi Bassi, Sudafrica e Romania sono ammesse direttamente al secondo turno, a cui accedono anche le vincenti di Italia-Bielorussia, Polonia-Finlandia e Ucraina-Lettonia. Le 4 squadre vincitrici negli incontri del secondo turno sono ammesse ai World Group Play-offs. Le altre 7 invece disputano dei turni eliminatori paralleli fra di loro per evitare gli ultimi due posti che significano retrocessione al Gruppo II della zona Euro-Africana. (it)
