- الانتخابات المحلية الفلسطينية 2004–2005 هي انتخابات الهيئات المحلية من مجالس بلدية أو قروية فلسطين، عُقد الانتخابات في الفترة ما بين ديسمبر 2004 وديسمبر 2005 لانتخاب أعضاء المجالس المحلية في الأراضي الفلسطينية. تُعد أول انتخابات محلية تجريها السلطة الوطنية الفلسطينية. جرت الانتخابات المحلية السابقة في عامي 1972 و 1976، ونظمتها قوة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي. - Municipal elections were held between December 2004 and December 2005, to elect members of local councils in the Palestinian Territories. The elections were approved by President Yasser Arafat of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA), before his death on 11 November 2004. They were administered by the Higher Committee for Local Elections (HCLE), a body established under the authority of the Ministry for Local Government, an institution of the Palestinian National Authority. It were the first local elections held by the PNA. Previous municipal elections were held in 1972 and 1976, organized by the Israeli occupation power. (en)
- Des élections municipales palestiniennes se sont déroulées en 2005 en Cisjordanie (les premières depuis 1976) et dans la Bande de Gaza (les premières depuis 1956). Elles ont été marquées par la première participation du Hamas à un scrutin palestinien et par un succès considérable du mouvement islamiste contre le Fatah du président Mahmoud Abbas. Le Hamas remporte un tiers des conseils municipaux. Janette Khoury, membre du FPLP élue à Ramallah grâce aux voix du Hamas, est la première femme à devenir maire d'une grande ville palestinienne. Fort de cette victoire, le Hamas choisit également de présenter une liste aux élections législatives palestiniennes de 2006. Cela amène le mouvement au pouvoir dans l'Autorité palestinienne.
