The 1966 Wyoming Cowboys football team represented the University of Wyoming in the 1966 NCAA University Division football season. Led by fifth-year head coach Lloyd Eaton, they were members of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) and played their home games on campus at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie. The Cowboys were 10–1, won the first of three consecutive conference titles, outscored their opponents 355 to 89, and had the nation's best rushing defense.
