Point Rosee (French: Pointe Rosée), previously known as Stormy Point, is a headland near Codroy at the southwest end of the island of Newfoundland, on the Atlantic coast of Canada. In 2014, archaeologist Sarah Parcak, using near-infrared satellite images discovered a possible Norse site at Point Rosee, Newfoundland. If confirmed, it would have been the second known Viking or Norse site in Newfoundland and the second Norse site in North America outside of Greenland. Point Rosee was excavated in 2015 and 2016, by a team of researchers directed by Parcak and co-directed by her husband Gregory "Greg" Mumford.
