動態幾何軟體(dynamic geometry softwares) 是一種可以讓使用者製作並且操作一些幾何对象的軟體。一般來說,這裡的幾何物件都是在欧氏几何中的物件。我們可以說動態幾何軟體基本上是一個可以在電腦上做尺规作图的軟體,不過還提供了更多的彈性,互動性,還有一些動態的展示。 動態幾何軟體最著名的大概是几何画板(The Geometer's Sketchpad),因此下表以几何画板為主要比較對象。如果只是基本的尺规作图,事實上不需要做這麼仔細的區分,因為以下每一套軟體都可以做到。 Interactive geometry software (IGS) or dynamic geometry environments (DGEs) are computer programs which allow one to create and then manipulate geometric constructions, primarily in plane geometry. In most IGS, one starts construction by putting a few points and using them to define new objects such as lines, circles or other points. After some construction is done, one can move the points one started with and see how the construction changes.
