Ibn Muflih married the daughter of the Hanbalis Qadi al-Qudat Jam\u0101l al-D\u012Bn al-Mard\u0101w\u012B (700-769/1300-1367) and had seven children from this marriage, five boys and two girls. The similarity of some of the names among the descendants of Ibn Muflih is liable to lead to confusion, especially as regards those named , of whom there are five.
