2017 AG13 est un astéroïde géocroiseur de type Aton mesurant entre 11 et 34 mètres. Il fut découvert grâce au Catalina Sky Survey le 7 janvier 2017. Il s'est approché à 203 520 kilomètres (0,53 distance Terre-Lune) de la Terre le 9 janvier 2017 à 12 h 47 UTC. Il avait alors une vitesse relative de 15,7 kilomètres par seconde. 2017 AG13 é um asteroide, medindo entre 15 e 34 metros de comprimento, que passou próximo à Terra no dia 9 de janeiro de 2017. Viajando a 16 km/s, ele passou a cerca de 190 mil quilômetros do planeta, aproximadamente a metade da distância entre a Terra e a Lua. Segundo informações do Catalina Sky Survey, transmitidas pelo jornal britânico Express, ele chegou a uma distância inferior entre o nosso planeta e a Lua (384.400 km), às 12h47min (GMT). 2017 AG13 is a small Aten asteroid that made a close approach of 0.54 lunar distances from Earth on January 9, 2017. It was the largest asteroid to pass less than 1 lunar distance from Earth since 2016 QA2 on August 28, 2016. The Catalina Sky Survey observed it first on January 7, 2017, only two days before its closest approach. At its brightest, 2017 AG13 reached apparent magnitude 12.2.
