Comme les autres cas\u00E9id\u00E9s herbivores il avait une petite t\u00EAte, un grand corps en forme de tonneau, une longue queue, et des membres massifs. Angelosaurus diff\u00E8re des autres cas\u00E9id\u00E9s par l\u2019extr\u00EAme massivit\u00E9 de ses os, en particulier ceux des membres, lesquels montrent un fort d\u00E9veloppement des cr\u00EAtes, des processus, et des rugosit\u00E9s pour la fixation des muscles et des tendons. Par rapport \u00E0 la taille de son corps, les membres d\u2019Angelosaurus \u00E9taient plus courts et plus larges que ceux des autres cas\u00E9id\u00E9s. Les phalanges ungu\u00E9ales ressemblaient davantage \u00E0 des sabots plut\u00F4t qu\u2019\u00E0 des griffes. Les quelques \u00E9l\u00E9ments cr\u00E2niens connus montrent que le cr\u00E2ne \u00E9tait court et plus robuste que celui des autres repr\u00E9sentants du groupe. Angelosaurus se distingue \u00E9galement par ses dents bulbeuses aux couronnes plus courtes et plus larges que celles des autres cas\u00E9id\u00E9s. Leur morphologie et le fort taux d\u2019usure qu\u2019elles pr\u00E9sentent sugg\u00E8re un r\u00E9gime alimentaire diff\u00E9rent de celui des autres grands cas\u00E9id\u00E9s herbivores, et devait \u00EAtre \u00E0 base de plantes particuli\u00E8rement coriaces. Their morphology and the high rate of wear they exhibit suggests a diet quite different from that of other large herbivorous caseids, and must have been based on particularly tough plants.
