- Ο Πολιτιστικός Οργανισμός «Δρόμοι της Ελιάς» (αγγλ.: Cultural Organization "Routes of the Olive Tree", γαλλ. Fondation Culturelle "Routes de l’Olivier") είναι Αστικός Μη Κερδοσκοπικός Οργανισμός και Φορέας Έρευνας, Τεκμηρίωσης, Διάσωσης, Προβολής του Πολιτισμού Ελιάς. Οι Δρόμοι της Ελιάς ξεκίνησαν το 1998 ως θεματικές πολιτιστικές διαδρομές με αντικείμενο την ελιά, συνοδευόμενες από κατά τόπους συναντήσεις με φορείς και ποικίλες εκδηλώσεις με σκοπό τη διεθνή προβολή της ιστορίας, των αγαθών και του πολιτισμού που σχετίζεται με την ελιά. Προοδευτικά χτίζεται ένα ευρωμεσογειακό δίκτυο, το οποίο οδηγεί στη δημιουργία του ομώνυμου πολιτιστικού οργανισμού, με έδρα την Ελλάδα και παραρτήματα στη Γαλλία και το Μαρόκο. Εμπνευστής και πρωτεργάτης των Δρόμων της Ελιάς είναι ο Γιώργος Καραμπάτος. (el)
- Las Rutas del olivo comenzaron en 1998. Surgen en Grecia, partiendo de la idea de Giorgos Karampatos, presidente de la Cámara de Mesenia, que inició una ruta relacionada con la historia del cultivo del olivo partiendo de Pylos, donde se habían documentado los cultivos más antiguos. En la actualidad están gestionadas por la Fundación Cultural las Rutas del Olivo, que tiene su sede en Kalamata, Mesenia. Forman parte universidades, cámaras de comercio, centros de investigación, organizaciones no gubernamentales, organismos culturales, agencias de desarrollo y personas físicas en muchos países. Fueron distinguidas como Itinerario Cultural del Consejo de Europa en el año 2005. Las rutas discurren por los siguientes países: Albania, Argelia, Croacia, Chipre, Egipto, Francia, Grecia, Italia, Jordania, Líbano, Libia, Marruecos, Portugal, Eslovenia, España, Siria, Túnez y Turquía. - The cultural organization Routes of the Olive Tree is a non-governmental organization for research, documentation, protection and valorization of the civilization of the olive tree. The Routes of the Olive Tree were inaugurated in 1998 as thematic cultural itineraries around the theme of the olive tree. They include local meetings with institutions and various events aiming at internationally promoting the history, gifts and civilization of the olive tree. The first experimental itineraries built bridges with the countries around the Mediterranean and with fellow travelers, friends and partners. Gradually a Euromediterranean network was built, leading to the creation of the Cultural Foundation of the same name, seated in Greece. The Cultural Foundation "Routes of the Olive Tree" firmly believes that the best possible wrapping of a product is the culture and traditions linked to it. In this regard, it also visits non olive oil producing countries, its members acting as representatives of institutions and civil society, accompanied by friends of the olive tree and the motorcycle, scientists, researchers, craftsmen, farmers and artists from all the Mediterranean countries.
