- ياسر سعيد عرمان (مواليد 1961 ولاية الجزيرة، السودان) سياسي سوداني وهو نائب الأمين العام للحركة الشعبية لتحرير السودان لقطاع الشمال وكان مرشحا من قبل الحركة الشعبية للانتخابات الرئاسية التي جرت في السودان في أبريل 2010، إلا أنه انسحب من السباق الرئاسي وتعين لاحقا عقب الاحتجاجات السودانية 2018-19 مستشارا سياسيا لرئيس الوزراء عبد الله حمدوك. يعد عرمان أيضا من القيادات التي ساهمت في صياغة وتوقيع اتفاقية نيفاشا للسلام الشامل التي أنهت الحرب بين شمال السودان وجنوبه عام 2005. والتي حملته إلى البرلمان ضمن حصة الحركة فصار رئيسا لكتلتها البرلمانية. كان ياسر عرمان من كوادر الحزب الشيوعي السوداني الذي انضم اليه في منتصف السبعينات وغادره 1986 م منضما إلى الحركة الشعبية بعد أن اتهم في قضية مقتل اثنين من زملائه الإسلاميين بجامعة القاهرة فرع الخرطوم سابقا والتي تعرف الآن باسم جامعة النيلين التي كان يدرس بها القانون، وتمت تبرئته من التهم وأطلق سراحه. اعتقل ياسر عرمان في ديسمبر 2009 برفقة عدد من قادة الحركة لبعض الوقت إثر محاولتهم تسيير مظاهرة في الخرطوم احتجاجا على تأخير إجازة قوانين في البرلمان السوداني. - Yasir Said Arman (ياسر عرمان) (born October 5, 1962, Al Jazirah) is a Sudanese politician and a leading figure in the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM). He was the SPLM's deputy secretary-general for the northern sector and its spokesman. Initially he was presented as the SPLM candidate for the April 2010 presidential election, but the party later chose to boycott the presidential election. After South Sudan's independence on July 9, 2011 and the creation of a separate SPLM party in the Republic of the Sudan (North Sudan), Arman has become the secretary general of the SPLM-N. Arman is one of the leaders who helped draft and signed the Naivasha agreement of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement that ended the war between the north and south of Sudan in 2005. He was the head of the SPLM quota for the parliamentary faction. (en)
