Jahrhunderts ist es noch ein Pub. Das Gebäude ist teilweise in Fachwerkbauweise errichtet und schließt Teile eines Anfang des 17. Jahrhunderts entstandenen Hauses mit ein und ist charakteristisch für die Gegend. English Heritage führt das Gebäude wegen seiner architektonischen und geschichtlichen Bedeutung im Grade II. (de)

Built in the late 18th century to replace an older inn also under the sign of the White Hart, it also served as Crawley's main post office for most of the 19th century, and still operates as a public house in the 21st century.
