- برامج الحماية التطوعية (VPP) هي مبادرة قدمتها إدارة الصحة والسلامة المهنية (أوشا) لتشجيع الهيئات الصناعية الخاصة والفدرالية على تجنب الإصابات والأمراض في مكان العمل من خلال منع الخطر والسيطرة عليه والتحليل الميداني وتدريب الموظفين والتعاون بين الإدارة و الموظفين. وتسعى برامج الحماية التطوعية إلى حث الموظف على المشاركة من أجل تحقيق معدلات إصابة ومرض أقل من المتوسط الوارد في إحصائيات مكتب العمل الدولي في القطاعات ذات الصلة. - Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) is an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) initiative that encourages private industry and federal agencies to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses through hazard prevention and control, worksite analysis, training; and cooperation between management and workers. VPP enlists worker involvement to achieve injury and illness rates that are below national Bureau of Labor Statistics averages for their respective industries. (en)
