- Třetí bitva o horu Hermon (krycím názvem Operace Dessert, hebr. מבצע קינוח) je název pro druhý izraelský pokus o vojenské obsazení strategické hory Hermon, kterou Syřané obsadili na začátku Jomkipurské války. Jednotky IOS zahájily svůj postup 21. října 1973 ze dvou směrů. Po těžkých bojích se jim 22. října podařilo vytlačit syrské jednotky a horu Hermon obsadit. (cs)

- La troisième bataille du Mont Hermon a été livrée dans la nuit du 21 au 22 octobre 1973, entre l'armée israélienne et l'armée syrienne sur le Mont Hermon, au cours des derniers jours de la guerre du Kippour. Dans cette bataille, baptisée « Opération Dessert » (en hébreu: מבצע קינוח, Mivtza Kinu'ah), les Forces de défense israéliennes reprennent l'avant-poste israélien capturé par des troupes syriennes le 6 octobre. Syrian troops had captured the IDF outpost on the mountain on October 6, and held it for two weeks. In the third battle, codenamed Operation Dessert (Hebrew: מבצע קינוח, Mivtza Kinu'ah), Israeli troops captured the Israeli outpost and the Syrian one. (en)
