- El SACS, siglas de Suzuki Advanced Cooling System (Sistema Avanzado Suzuki de Refrigeración), es un sistema empleado por el fabricante Suzuki en algunos de sus motores de motocicleta. Básicamente consiste en un motor refrigerado por aire, con aletas embrionarias en los cilindros, pero contando con la ayuda del aceite del motor, que circula de modo análogo al agua en los motores que emplean refrigeración líquida. También chorros de aceite son dirigidos a la parte interior de los pistones, y un gran radiador de aceite contribuye a reducir la temperatura del sistema. La principal ventaja de este sistema frente a la refrigeración líquida convencional se encuentra en el ahorro de peso y menor complejidad, al no necesitar dos circuitos independientes, uno para agua y otro para aceite. También se elimina la necesidad de una bomba de agua. El principal inconveniente es una mayor temperatura de funcionamiento, con lo que el rendimiento del motor es variable en función de la temperatura exterior, resultando excelente con bajas temperaturas. Le système a été largement utilisé sur les modèles de moto GSXR de 1985 à 1992. Suzuki a continué à utiliser le système dans ses gammes GSF (Bandit) et GSX (GSX-F, GSX1400, Inazuma) jusqu'à l'année modèle 2006, et sur le DR650 de 1990 à aujourd'hui. Dit is een met lucht/oliekoeling - naar het voorbeeld van het P-51 Mustang jachtvliegtuig - voor de snelle Suzuki's vanaf de GSX-R 750 die geïntroduceerd werd in 1984. Motorfietsen met dit systeem zijn herkenbaar aan een vrij grote en kleine, dicht op elkaar geplaatste koelribben. Na de komisch verlopen presentatie van de DR 750 S (DR Big) in 1987 werd het ook wel Suzuki Advanced Comedy System genoemd. Overigens kwam oliekoeling al bij de oude merken Windhoff en Bradshaw voor.
