- Die Sir Adam Beck Kraftwerke (englisch Sir Adam Beck Hydroelectric Generating Stations) am Niagara River in Niagara Falls, Provinz Ontario in Kanada, bestehen aus den beiden benachbarten Kraftwerken Sir Adam Beck I & II und dem Pumpspeicherkraftwerk Sir Adam Beck. Die Kraftwerke werden von der Ontario Power Generation (OPG) betrieben. Die beiden Laufwasserkraftwerke haben gemeinsam eine installierte Leistung von knapp 2 GW, das Pumpspeicherkraftwerk eine solche von 174 MW. Sir Adam Beck Generating Station I, Sir Adam Beck Generating Station II and the Sir Adam Beck Pump Generating Station are all owned by Ontario Power Generation. Following the development of several smaller generating stations around Niagara Falls in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the Province of Ontario authorized the construction of the first major publicly owned generating station in the province. At the time it was built, it was the largest hydroelectric generating station in the world. The stations divert water from the Niagara and Welland rivers above Niagara Falls which is then released into the lower portion of the Niagara River, and together produce up to 1,997 MW (2,678,000 hp). При цьому можливо відзначити, що на перепаді висот між зазначеними озерами в Канаді також працює ГЕС DeCew II. Коротка річка Ніагара, котра транспортує ресурс з майже всього водозбірного басейну Великих озер (крім найнижчого серед них Онтаріо), вирізняється високою водністю та на своєму шляху перетинає Ніагарський уступ, спадаючи з нього знаменитим водоспадом висотою понад півсотні метрів.
