- The secretary of state for international trade, also referred to as the international trade secretary, is a secretary of state in the Government of the United Kingdom, with overall responsibility for the business of the Department for International Trade and UK Export Finance. The incumbent is a member of the Cabinet of the United Kingdom, 12th in the ministerial ranking. Since the office's inception, the incumbent has concurrently been appointed President of the Board of Trade. The office holder works alongside the other International Trade ministers. The corresponding shadow minister is the shadow secretary of state for international trade. The secretary of state is also scrutinised by the International Trade Select Committee. The incumbent is Kemi Badenoch, following her appointment by Prime Minister Liz Truss in September 2022. (en)

- Il Segretario di Stato principale di Sua Maestà per il commercio internazionale di solito abbreviato in Segretario per il commercio internazionale (in inglese: Secretary of State for International Trade o Secretary for Trade) è una posizione ministeriale a livello del Gabinetto del Regno Unito. Il segretario di stato è responsabile della supervisione del Dipartimento per il commercio internazionale, che negozia nuovi accordi commerciali internazionali con altri paesi e il Regno Unito. La posizione è stata creata dall'ex Primo ministro del Regno Unito Theresa May, poco dopo la sua entrata in carica il 13 luglio 2016. Lo scopo di questo nuova posizione segue il risultato del referendum sull'adesione all'Unione europea del 2016 il 23 giugno 2016, in cui il 51,9% degli elettori ha votato a favore dell'uscita dall'Unione europea. Il ritiro dall'Unione Europea richiederà la formazione di nuovi accordi commerciali. Il primo detentore della funzione era l'ex segretario alla Difesa , nominato il 13 luglio 2016.
