- La Fornaca de Vilassar de Dalt és un recinte arqueològic situat al municipi de Vilassar de Dalt, al Maresme, que inclou tres forns romans dedicats a la producció industrial de material ceràmic de gran format: material de construcció (ímbrex, tègula i maons) i (recipients de grans dimensions). La seva tipologia, els materials trobats en l'excavació i l'estudi arqueomagnètic del forns 1 i 2 permeten datar l'època d'activitat dels forns entre els segles I i II dC. El topònim Fornaca, documentat per primera vegada l'any 1290 al speculum del castell de Vilassar, dona pistes sobre l'antiguitat de la zona de producció industrial. El recinte és gestionat pel Museu-Arxiu de Vilassar de Dalt. (ca)
- The Roman ovens of the Fornaca are ancient Roman structures in the archaeological site of Fornaca at Vilassar de Dalt, Catalonia, Spain; they were dedicated to the industrial production of large ceramic materials. Basing on their typology, the materials found in the excavation, and study of their magnetic properties, archaeologists have dated the ovens 1 and 2 to the 1st and 2nd centuries AD. The name Fornaca, documented for the first time in 1290 at the castle of Speculum Vilassar, gives clues about the antiquity of the area of industrial production.
