- Pemphigus foliaceus ist eine seltene Hautkrankheit aus der Gruppe der blasenbildenden Autoimmundermatosen. Im Gegensatz zum Pemphigus vulgaris zeichnet er sich durch Blasenbildung der oberen Schichten der Epidermis aus. Sie wird durch Autoantikörper gegen Desmoglein 1 (ein Cadherin) ausgelöst. Die Erkrankung kommt beim Menschen, aber auch Haushunden, Hauskatzen und Pferden vor. (de)
- Pemphigus foliaceus is an autoimmune blistering disease (bullous disorder) of the skin. Pemphigus foliaceus causes a characteristic inflammatory attack at the subcorneal layer of epidermis, which results in skin lesions that are scaly or crusted erosions with an erythematous (red) base. Mucosal involvement is absent even with widespread disease. If there is an autoimmune IgG buildup in the epidermis, then nearly all of the antibodies are aimed against desmoglein 1. The effect of the antibodies and the immunological pathway is most likely one of three mechanisms:
* Steric hindrance of the desmoglein 1: The antibody caps off the site for intracellular binding to another keratinocyte.
* Activation of an endocytic pathway: The antibody activates a pathway which causes an internalization of desmogleïn 1, which in turn causes a loss of adhesion.
* Disruption of function: In this case, the antibody blocks the desmoglein 1 from being formed into a desmosome. This in turn causes a loss of adhesion with acantholysis as a result. (en)
- Il pemfigo foliaceo (PF) è considerato una varietà ad evoluzione benigna del pemfigo. Si tratta di una malattia cutanea di tipo autoimmune, i cui tratti distintivi risiedono nella perdita di adesione intercellulare (fenomeno noto con il nome di acantolisi) dei cheratinociti, localizzati negli strati superiori dell'epidermide. La perdita di adesione tra i cheratinociti comporta la formazione di tipiche bolle e vescicole superficiali che in tempi successivi possono trasformarsi in erosioni squamose e crostose, spesso su una base eritematosa.Il coinvolgimento delle mucose è invece assente, perfino quando la malattia è estremamente diffusa.Il disturbo si caratterizza anche per la presenza di un segno semeiologico, il cosiddetto segno di Nikolsky (dal nome dello scienziato Piotr Nikolsky che lo descrisse nel 1896), per il quale il semplice sfregamento di una zona di cute apparentemente sana comporta l'insorgenza di una nuova vescicola.Il decorso della malattia tende ad essere cronico. Zmiany nie występują na błonach śluzowych. Powstałe przeciwciała (choroba autoimmunologiczna) są klasy IgG i skierowane są przeciwko desmogleinie 1 (kadherynie występującej w naskórku, o m.cz. 160 kDa).
