- Neferu I (Nfr.w, "perfecció", "bellesa") fou una reina d'Egipte. Es va casar amb el rei i nomarca Mentuhotep de Tebes, considerat el fundador de la dinastia XI, i fou mare de dos reis: Antef I i Antef II. El segon va fer gravar el seu nom moltes vegades perquè no fos oblidada. Una neta d'Antef II (per tant besneta de Neferu) va portar el mateix nom en honor de la besavia i és coneguda com a Neferu II (filla d'Antef III i germana de Mentuhotep I). Tenia els títols d'Esposa del Rei, la seva estimada, Filla del Rei i Ornament Reial. (ca)

Her sons were Intef I and Intef II and she was a grandmother of Intef III and Queen Iah, his wife. She was also a great-grandmother of Neferu II. She is mentioned on one stela. It is possible that she is the same as the Queen Neferukayet, who is thought to be wife of Intef II. Her titles would be then: "King's wife, his beloved", "King's daughter" and "Royal Ornament". (en)

Une reine nommée Néféroukait a parfois été considérée comme la même personne que Néférou Ire, Néféroukait étant compris comme une version longue de Néférou, mais étant donné que Néféroukait porte le titre de « Fille du roi » (sȝ.t-nỉsw.t), il est plus probable que cette dernière soit la fille de Néférou Ire et l'épouse de l'un de ses frères Antef, probablement Antef II.
