- The Jouybareh district is the oldest district of Isfahan. The district originates in the early Achaemenid era and because of the immigration of the babylonian jews on the order of Cyrus the Great. This district was called Dar ol-Johoud (Residential area of jews) until the 12th century, but later it was known as Jahanbareh and Jouybareh and became one of the districts of Isfahan. In the Seljuq era, the district became the center of the city Isfahan. For that reason, there are very old historical structures like Sarban minaret and Chehel Dokhtaran minaret in this district. - Joubareh (Joodse wijk) is de oudste wijk van de stad Isfahan. De wijk heeft zijn oorsprong in het begin van de Achaemeniden-tijdperk tijdens de immigratie van de op het bevel van Cyrus II de Grote. De woonwijk van de Joden was tot de 12e eeuw als Daroljahud (Het woongebied van de Joden) bekend, maar later bekend als Joubareh en werd een wijk van Isfahan. In het Seldsjoeken-tijdperk was deze buurt het centrum van Isfahan, daarom zijn er zeer oude historische gebouwen zoals de Sarban Minaret en Chehel Dochtaran Minaret in deze wijk. (nl)
