- Der Ausdruck Weltjudentum bezeichnet in der Regel eine antisemitische Verschwörungstheorie, wonach ein fiktives Kollektiv, „die Juden“ bzw. „das Judentum“, die Weltherrschaft anstrebe oder besitze. Verwandte Ausdrücke sind jüdische Weltverschwörung oder jüdische Weltbeherrschung, jüdische Internationale, goldene Internationale, Alljuda, internationales (Finanz)Judentum und der internationale Jude. Sinngemäß verwendet werden heute auch Ausdrücke wie Zionist Occupied Government, Weltzionismus, Hochfinanz, Großkapital, internationale Völkermordzentrale, Israellobby und (US-)Ostküste. Legenden eines heimlichen Weltherrschaftsstrebens „der Juden“ wurden schon im mittelalterlichen Antijudaismus überliefert und im neuzeitlichen Antisemitismus rassistisch verschärft. Für den Nationalsozialismus war das „Weltjudentum“ der „Weltfeind“, den die „arische Herrenrasse“ für ihr eigenes Überleben vernichten müsse. Damit rechtfertigten die Nationalsozialisten ab 1941 ihren Vernichtungskrieg gegen die Sowjetunion und den Holocaust. (de)

- De term "Weltjudentum" werd in 1908 voor het eerst gebruikt door de Duitse theoloog Gustav Adolf Deissmann. Deismann deed dat in zijn boek Licht vom Osten. Das Neue Testament und die neuentdeckten Texte der hellenistisch-römischen Welt. Deissmann was geen antisemiet en deed dit in een beschrijving van een zich verspreidende Joodse cultuur in de eerste eeuwen van onze jaartelling. De nationaalsocialisten en andere antisemieten gaven aan de term later de betekenis van een wereldwijde Joodse entiteit en suggereerden niet alleen een verborgen en heimelijk werkende organisatie maar ook heimelijke doelen die "het wereldjodendom" na zou streven.
