- مؤسّسة المشاورين تعتبر من الجناح التّعيينيّ في النظام الإداريّ البهائيّ. وهي تتشكّل من: ٩ مشاورين عالميّين في دار التّبليغ العالميّة و٩٠ مشاورٍ قارّيّ وهيئات معاونيهم ومساعديهم. المشاورون، منصب ذو مرتبة عالية ومحترمة، يتمّ تعيينهم كلّ ٥ سنوات وتكون قابلة للتّجديد، ويتمّ تقسيمهم وتنسيقهم بواسطة دار التّبليغ العالميّة إلى هيئات تعمل على مستوى ٥ قارّات. تمّ تأسيس وإنشاء مؤسّسة المشاورين في عام ١٩٦٨ من قِبَل بيت العدل الأعظم، وذلك لكي يستمرّ العمل الّذي كان يتمّ إجراؤه بواسطة أيادي أمر الله. وظائف هذه الهيئة هي بشكل عامّ: «الحفظ والحماية» من التّفرقة والنّزاع، و«التّرويج» أي النّشر، وذلك على المستوى العالميّ. أعضاء الهيئة هذه ليس لديهم أيّ سلطة تشريعيّة أو تنفيذيّة، وهم ليسوا كرجال الدّين، ولكنّهم لديهم وظائف «تحفيز وتشجيع، تقديم النُّصح، والمساعدة والدّعم» للهيئات المُنتخَبة والجامعات البهائيّة بصفة عامّة. هم يقومون بدور استشاريّ وملهم إلى حدٍّ كبير. يتمّ تعيين المشاورين العالميّين والقارّيّين بواسطة بيت العدل الأعظم، المؤسّسة العُليا لدى الدّين البهائيّ. المشاورون القارّيّون يعيّنون هيئات المعاونين وهم بدورهم يعيّنون مساعديهم. عند تضمين أيادي أمر الله، يُطلق على الهيكل بأكمله 'الجناح التّعيينيّ' للدّين البهائيّ، وذلك لمقارنتها مع المحافل الرّوحانيّة المُنتخَبة. جميع أعضاء المؤسّسة بما فيها من دار التّبليغ العالميّة إلى هيئات المعاونين يخدمون لمدّة ٥ سنوات ويبدأ فترة خدمتهم في يوم العهد والميثاق، والّذي يقع بين فترة ٢٥ أو ٢٦ نوفمبر. إلّا أن فترة خدمة المساعدين المحلّيّين «متروكة لتقدير كلّ هيئة قارّيّة». ليس هناك أيّ حاجة إلى مؤهّلات رسميّة، شروط مسبقة، أو تدريب للتّعيين في مؤسّسة المشاورين. - The Institution of the Counsellors is the current appointed branch in the administrative system of the Baháʼí religion. It consists of the 9 International Counsellors of the International Teaching Centre, the 90 Continental Counsellors, their Auxiliary Board Members, and assistants. The Counsellors, a respected and high-ranking position, are appointed to 5-year renewable terms, and organized into boards working on 5 continents that are coordinated by the International Teaching Centre. The Institution of the Counsellors was created in 1968 by the Universal House of Justice to perpetuate the work done previously by the Hands of the Cause. The functions of the institution are generally "protection" from schism and "propagation", or spreading, of the religion at an international level. Members of the institution have no legislative or executive power, and do not fill the role of clergy, but they are tasked with "stimulating, counseling, and assisting" the elected institutions and Baháʼí communities generally. They fill a largely advisory and inspirational role. The continental and international Counsellors are appointed by the Universal House of Justice, the supreme institution of the religion. Continental Counsellors appoint Auxiliary Boards, who in turn appoint assistants. When including the Hands of the Cause, the whole structure is sometimes called the 'appointed branch' of the religion, or the 'Institution of the Learned', to contrast it with the elected Spiritual Assemblies. All members of the institution, from the International Teaching Centre to Auxiliary Board members serve 5-year terms that begins on the Day of the Covenant, which falls on either November 25 or 26, except for local Assistants, whose duration of service is "left to each Continental Board to decide for itself". There are no formal qualifications, pre-requisites, or training needed to be appointed to the Institution of the Counsellors. (en)
- Kontinentala rådgivare (eng: Continental Board of Counsellors) är ett slags stödorganisationer inom det Internationella bahá'í-samfundet. Rådgivarna är ett bestämt antal män och kvinnor som har till uppgift att hjälpa och stödja de nationella bahá'í-samfunden inom varje världsdel. De Kontinentala rådgivarna utses av Universella Rättvisans Hus. De Kontinentala rådgivarna utser i sin tur (eng: Auxillary Board), vilka är speciellt inriktade på att hjälpa och stödja bahá'í-verksamheten i ett enskilt land. Bahá'íerna kallar dessa verksamheter för "institut" eller "institutioner" och ser dem som frön till myndigheter (ännu utan namn och givetvis med en något förändrad verksamhet) som ska vara fullt utvecklade i en framtida ny världsordning.
