- Ritter Hans von Trotha (* vermutlich in Krosigk; † 26. Oktober 1503 auf Burg Berwartstein) war Marschall der Kurfürsten von der Pfalz und erlangte den französischen Ehrentitel eines . Er wurde 1480 vom Kurfürsten mit den beiden Burgen Berwartstein und Grafendahn belehnt, die im südpfälzischen Teil des Wasgaus (heute Rheinland-Pfalz) liegen. In 1480, the elector enfeoffed him with the two castles of Berwartstein and Grafendahn which lay in the South Palatine part of the Wasgau region within the Palatinate Forest.
